34 schools participating in College of Visual & Performing Arts Emerging Young Artists 2016 Invitational Exhibition

The works of high school art students from 34 schools across 糖心logo入口 are on display for UMass Dartmouth鈥檚 College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) 4^th annual Emerging Young Artists (EYA) Invitational Exhibition. More than 150 art pieces are being showcased at the University鈥檚 Campus Gallery through Saturday,February 6, with a closing reception and awards ceremony scheduled at 1-3 p.m. on that Saturday.

UMass Dartmouth鈥檚 CVPA is thrilled to host this annual invitational exhibition to showcase the artwork of many of the region's talented art students. The participating schools were invited to be part of the exhibition for the long-term commitment they have demonstrated to art education and for the quality of work that comes from their art programs. The art teachers from these high schools were asked to select artwork in any media (drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, film, video, printmaking, graphic design, etc.) from their best students to be included in this group exhibition. The result is a marvelous exhibition that showcases the talents of these young artists.
