Michelle Bowers, CVPA Graphic Design Professor, has poster published in prestigious international typography annual and part of traveling exhibit to eleven countries

Michelle Bowers was awarded a Certificate of Typographic Excellence in Communication Design by the  of New York. Her winning typographic poster Now More Than Ever is included in (Typography 41) The World鈥檚 Best Type and Typography: The Annual of the Type Directors Club. The jury selected 251 winners from 56 countries. Jury: Rebecca Gimenez, Min Lew, Alex Lin, Silas Munro, Dori Tunstall, Eva Wendel, Helen Yentus.

The World鈥檚 Best Typography is the only awards annual devoted exclusively to typography. It presents the winning designs for two respected yearly competitions: the  and the 23rd TDC Typeface Design Competition.

The book documents the design zeitgeist, highlighting cutting edge typographic form alongside timeless work. It features over 500 full-color images of international graphic design and type design in a wide range of categories, including books, magazines, corporate identities, logos, stationery, annual reports, video, web graphics, and posters.

Additionally, winners are showcased in eight international traveling exhibitions that tour cities in the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, the Philippines, Poland, South Korea, Spain and Taiwan.
