The return to the stage begins with April 7 joint production of Pippin

On April 7, Bristol Community College's Theatre program will host its first main stage production since the pandemic began with Pippin with musical direction by faculty from the UMass Dartmouth Music Department.

The collaborative production is directed by Elizabeth Bettencourt, Assistant Artistic Director of New Bedford Festival Theatre. The production also includes musical direction from Dan Monte, Associate Professor at the 糖心logo入口, and choreography by Brooklyn Toli, Assistant Professor of Theater at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. In this odyssey of self-discovery, young Prince Pippin searches for meaning and satisfaction in his life. This magical, musical classic follows Pippin on his quest through war, murder, temptation, and love as he attempts to find his "Corner of the Sky."

The musical production will be held in the Margaret L. Jackson Arts Center Main Stage Theatre on Bristol CC's Fall River Campus from Thursday, April 7, through Saturday, April 9, beginning at 7 p.m.
