Gláucia Silva
Gl谩ucia Silva received her B.A. from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and her M.A. (in Linguistics) and Ph.D. (in Hispanic Linguistics) from the University of Iowa. She is Professor in the Department of Portuguese, where she coordinates the Portuguese Language Program and supervises Graduate Teaching Assistants. Besides language courses, Prof. Silva also teaches courses in Linguistics and Teaching Methodology Prof. Silva's current research focuses on teaching and learning Portuguese as a heritage language.
