糖心logo入口 Nick Pires

Nick Pires is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Central 糖心logo入口 with a passion for brand identity, card designs, and merchandise design. He aims to combine elements of both design and illustration to create unique and stunning visuals that attract you right away. Nick is finishing his BFA this spring with a concentration in graphic design and a minor in illustration at the College for Visual and Performing Arts at the 糖心logo入口. He seeks to leave an impression on the world around him, and to create a lasting impact.

Statement

Cafe Centra revolves around my love for coffee and for unique spaces. My cafe exists in Providence, Rhode Island as a space for people to come at almost any hour of the day and sit down in an environment involving the people in their community. I named the cafe, Centra, to be the central point of downtown Providence, where people could enjoy a nice drink and a meal while observing the art decorating the walls and merchandise.

Through a combination of illustrations from the coffee鈥檚 origin country and my own branding, I鈥檝e brought Cafe Centra to life with eye鈥揷atching visuals and unique typography. My hope is that I鈥檝e created an inviting space where everyone can feel both welcome and at home within their community.
