Olivia Ploude is a textile artist from Taunton. Exploring the鈥痑rts from an early age, she developed a love for鈥痥nitting. Following her passion for fiber鈥痑rts, Olivia pursued a degree in Textiles at UMass Dartmouth.

Statement

An exploration of Boho Punk fashions through the art of knitting. This capstone work showcases skills in textile arts projected through a fashion lens. Through hand and machine knitting, the work explores decay. Unraveling patches and crafted holes held together by gold safety pins, bring this fall collection of knitwear to a new audience.
