糖心logo入口 Yi-Hung Hsu

Yi-Hung Hsu was born and raised in Taichung, Taiwan. Her major鈥痠s鈥痠n animation and Game Design鈥痑t the鈥�糖心logo入口. She鈥痟as been鈥痠nfluenced鈥痓y鈥痓oth鈥疛apanese and U.S animation鈥痵ince her childhood. Yi-Hung鈥痠s鈥痠nterested鈥痠n鈥痶rying鈥痭ew animation styles and learning鈥痭ew skills to make鈥痟er鈥痑nimation more striking and intriguing.鈥疭omething she particularly enjoys is鈥痗reating the鈥痵mall鈥痙etails in shots, even if viewers don't notice the details explicitly.

My animation work is鈥痑bout the 鈥淟ight at the Night鈥� game, which鈥痶ells of the Japanese- style hotel 鈥淟ight鈥� located in the Tiatong business district of Linsen North Road in Taipei in 1988. The protagonists of the story are Rose and Sue, the hotel mother (hotel Boss),鈥痺ho鈥痜ace entanglement due to loving the same man (the richest customers).鈥疧ne day, after鈥痑 series of consecutive鈥痳aining days,鈥痶he cops found the鈥痓ody of a鈥痙ead woman who鈥痺as鈥痺earing鈥痳ed shoes鈥痠n the mountain.鈥疶he dead woman was identified as鈥疭ue鈥痑nd determined to be a murder. The cops鈥痺anted鈥痶o find鈥痶he true鈥痬urderer鈥痑nd investigate鈥痶he case.鈥�鈥疶he cops investigate the hotel mother鈥痑nd guests around them鈥痑nd uncover鈥痑鈥痜eud鈥痶he hotel mother had with some guests.

In my work process, I鈥痳esearched鈥痑bout Taiwanese culture,鈥痶he year of鈥�1988,鈥痗haracters customs, and design鈥痮f鈥痗haracters鈥痑nd animation.鈥疢y intent is to鈥痩et everyone know about鈥痶he history of鈥�1988 in Taiwan鈥痑nd how its economy was raised.鈥疉lso, I intend to break down the cultural biases and misconceptions surrounding the Asian community and for my work to serve as a reminder that everyone deserves respect, happiness, and love.
